SpeakerHyun Seok LEE

Dr. Hyun Seok LEE is a research professor in Center for Integrated Nanostructure Physics (CINAP), Institute for Basic Science (IBS), Suwon, Korea since 2013. His research is recently focused on plasmo-excitonics [Nat. Commun. 7, 13663 (2016); Phys. Rev. B 93, 140409(R) (2016); Phys. Rev. Lett. 115, 226801(2015); Adv. Opt. Mater. 3, 943 (2015)] and defect engineering [Adv. Mater., in press (2017); Adv. Mater. 27, 5534 (2015)] in two-dimensional semiconductors. Prior to joining CINAP, he was a senior research engineer in Samsung electronics, Yongin/Hwasung, Korea, from 2011 to 2013 and a postdoctoral research fellow in CEA-LETI, MINATEC, Grenoble, France, from 2009 to 2011. He received B. S., M. S., and Ph.D. degrees at the Department of Materials Science and Engineering of Korea University in Seoul, Korea in 2002, 2004, and 2008 respectively. He jointly worked in Korea Institute of Science and Technology (KIST) in Seoul, Korea, for his M.S. and Ph.D. degrees. abstract
