SpeakerPeter Boggild

Peter Boggild received his PhD in low temperature quantum transport at the Copenhagen University in 1998 and joined the DTU Nanotech department of Micro and Nanotechnology at the Technical University of Denmark. He became a full professor in 2013, and is leading a group focused on carbon nanomaterials and other 2D materials, in areas such as nanofabrication, graphene quantum transport and nanoelectronics, van der Waals heterostructures, nanometrology, synthesis (graphene, hexagonal boron nitride and in-plane heterostructures) and transfer, as well as protective coatings based on 2D materials. He has published more than 60 papers on carbon nanomaterials, as well as 10 patent applications. He is involved in the center of excellence, CNG - Center for Nanostructured Graphene and the EU Graphene Flagship as well as coordinating the large Danish innovation fund project, DAGATE on graphene technology and applications. abstract
